This is not a paid advertisement - but an actual opinion. And the first time I ever take the time to write a hotel review - but for Maria I will do one. The Maria Hotel is exceptional in every single way. Having stayed in many of the best hotels in the world, I am happy to say that Maria is among the very very best hotels that I have ever had the pleasure to stay in. If you are regular at the likes of Four Seasons etc, you will be extremely happy to stay at Maria. Without a shadow of a doubt, the best hotel in Finland and one of the best in the world. To say that the hotel is luxurious - would be an understatement - it is stunning and so well thought - the rooms are great, the beds are amazing and the facilities, such as the spa, sauna, bar, massages and restaurants and food are all five stars. Thank you very much for the entire team, who made us feel very welcome and comfortable from the first minute upon arrival - from the smiling and pro-active bellmen to Lisa at the reception, who gave us such a warm welcome and was truly the face of Maria from the first moment. Also big thanks to Bryan, who manages the Garden Terrace restaurant, who continued to amaze us with his wonderful hospitality, world class service, guest attendance, recommendations and positive energy. The Maria Hotel just became our new home in Helsinki :) Much recommended!

I have done the trip between Helsinki and Stockholm on various ferries before, sometimes stopping in Aland. I wanted to splurge on a (admittedly pricey) Commodore Class cabin this time and it was excellent. In a private area toward the front of the ship on higher floors. The room was narrow, but the bathroom was large and there was a nice sitting area and enclosed balcony. We liked the Marimekko furnishings. The Commodore Lounge was steps away and beautiful, if a bit snug at peak times. Staff was great. Breakfast served in the Bon Vivant Restaurant was nice. We had dinner in the Grill steak Restaurant which was surprisingly excellent (not included in fare but good value by Scandinavian standards). The sunny morning through the Stockholm archipelago was magical.

The room was decent for the price, toilet was clean, bed was comfortable enough. The ship is big with lots of entertainment options, although quite pricey.

Great experience and a beautiful journey. Definitely would reccomend.

Everthing were perfect. Location, facility and staff

The great big speaker. The Jacuzzi. The various light effects. The big telly. The sauna effect bedroom. Two bathrooms. Hair dryer. Comfy beds.

Easy to find the property. Quiet location 10 minutes from the metro station (and there's a supermarket at the same location). Spacious property with no noise from the neighbors.

Everything was great and absolutely worth the cost! 😍 The voyage was on time. The room was clean and spacious for two. Food, music, and many activities that ensure you won’t get bored on the way! We spent our day in the old town in Stockholm which was lovely to visit! We had our launch at Sallys Italian restaurant and recommend this place! Also enjoyed a lot of street food😍☺️

The apartment was amazing. The location was perfect! There was public transportation a block away, and you could walk almost anywhere in the downtown area very easily. The apartment was clean, comfortable and very large! The private sauna was a treat! I highly recommend this apartment. I wish we could have stayed longer!

We really enjoyed this apartment. It was close to the ferry and the metro. There were several grocery stores nearby. The hosts were thoughtful and communicative.
