The cabin view was exceptional from the backyard. Very cozy place. The location is quite far from hella - so no light pollution. The woods and volcano view is like straight from a postcard.

Perfect location as we wanted to visit the Secret Lagoon. So private and quiet and peaceful. Very comfortable, warm. Really nice little kitchen. I especially appreciated the detailed check in information with GPS coordinates and how to contact the owner if necessary.

I know there's some negative reviews, mainly about overbooking, but the property is under a new ownership and the new owners seem to be dedicated to turn around the property. We didn't have hot water on the second night, but the owner came right away and fixed it, and it was due to construction in the area rather than the property's own flaw. Two cabin share a hot tub. It's still great as long as you can figure out the time share with your neighbours. The cabin sleeps four, when the sofa bed is opened it gets a bit crowded, so I would rather recommend it for a couple or for families. It's right off the Golden Circle and the old Kerlingarfjöll track is close by as well.
