Beautifully appointed clean property. Lots of parking, easy to locate. There is a beautiful pool, sauna, steam and salt rooms. The breakfast was lovely and our dinner there was delicious.

Amalia & Manuel were excellent frontliners! They were very responsive, helpful, and friendly. Hotel San Michele offered not only great service, but a true value for money experience!

Owner was extremely friendly and ready to help. Wide range of snags and drinks, kapsul and filter coffee machines with consumatives, equiped kitchen. Everything as complementary. Private garden for dining. Beautifull courtyard with olive trees, swimming pool, tennis court and grass area.

The room was fabulous with a nice size bathroom. Nice quiet area a little out of the way of the main attractions, the bathroom was generous for Italy.

The location is superbe. A beautiful, old - but still working - farm, in the countryside. Still, it's only a 30 minutes' walk to Cortona (make sure you ask Paolo for directions). There are also other wonderful walks, e.g., to the Celle Hermitage, an amazing Franciscan monastery. The rooms are spectacular with wooden ceilings and stone floors. The garden is spacious and quiet. I loved the smell of all the surrounding greenery. Personally, I also very much enjoyed the meals. Breakfast is as great as all the reviews say. But the dinners are even more special. These meals together with the family and other guests were something that I very much cherished; the hosts made me feel so welcome, almost like being part of the family.

Valentina was an amazing hostess, she was a gem of a resource who responded so quickly to our many questions, was always friendly and helpful. The location is and the property are lovely, central to so many interesting towns.

This home and its owners were at the top of all my rental experiences, and I've been traveling for over 30 years. My flight was delayed so instead of expected 7pm CET I arrived late into the night. Pier Luigi and Barbara were kind enough to wait around for me to make sure I could easily get in and felt comfortable first night at the new place. After helluva near 24-hour commute that was a magical beginning to my stay. The house offers everything and more for a comfortable stay. I was in Cortona for a month and would've stayed there longer, given the opportunity. For those, working remote, like myself - Wifi is excellent! Beds - heavenly. When my friend came to visit, she stayed in the master, so I got to try the once in the guest room as well - equally perfect! The shower with that rain-plate -a dream after a hot day of walking those Tuscan hills. The location - "where you want to be". The hosts - Exceptionally gracious with the side of outstanding communication. I am coming back again as soon as I can and there is no other home I'd rather stay. Book it!

Staff made everything so personal and comfortable

- the decoration - the staff was amazing - the heated swimming pool - the landscape ❤️ - breakfast place and bar were so charming!
