We came to Postalesio to search for my roots-my grandparents emigrated from this village in the early 1900's. When I mentioned this to Carmen she was amazingly helpful! She called the communal archives for information, organized a "grand tour" of the old family homestead, & arranged for some distant relatives to meet up with us at her & Alberto's place for a fun evening! What a wonderful host! The place is very clean & cozy with a beautiful panoramic view! We hope to visit again.

The rooms are beautiful; I found the wood and stone and quality of the workmanship very restful. The sauna/spa were perfect to help us rejuvenate after our long trek--exceptional. The breakfast was delicious and of high quality. And, of course, the staff were perfect--friendly, professional, practical, helpful. I hope to return.

This was another outstanding find. Although a little out of the way, you are rewarded with exveptional mountain and valley views once you arrive. Even though we arrived early, we were warmly greeted by our hosts and made welcome with a glass from their private stash of homemade red wine (exceptional). The view from our room overlooked the valley and onto the mountains. It was stunning. Breakfast was also wonderful. The ancient church next door is also interesting to explore.
