The property was amazing! Fantastic views from our A-frame lodging on top of the mountain. We had a lovely fire in the wood burning stove and thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub with fantastic views.

The hotel was absolutely beautiful. I really loved the way they displayed the historic elements of wool into the decor. The pool area was lovely. We had a nice quiet room. The breakfast was plentiful and had lots to choose from. Staff was wonderful. Large parking lots of spots. We took an UBER into the old part of the city for dinner and it was only about 5€. Free bottle of water in our room was a nice touch.

Ecofurtado is quite an amazing place. The location is stunning. If you want a unique experience in a beautiful location and enjoy the most fantastic peace and quiet then this is the place for you/ The facilities are excellent and the host is truly wonderful. We had just the best possible stay.

In the country overlooking the valley and the town. Facilities were new and owner Sarah was super. After driving from Madrid and arriving around 3:30 we didn’t want the hassle of driving into town for dinner (town is typical rural Portugal) but every restaurant in the area delivers so we sat by the pool, had a beer or wine, jumped into the jacuzzi and waited for food. Bed very comfortable, shower great and lots of stars at night. There are not many rooms so we had the whole grounds to ourselves 😀 Plus the national park is in the vicinity for hiking the next day.
