This property and the host, Kathy, were exceptional. Kathy answered all my pre-arrival & post-arrival messages with patience & kindness. Her lovely guest house was exactly as advertised. It was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, very cozy, and well stocked with all the necessities (soap, shampoo, etc)- as well as super comfortable bedding, plush towels, and a mini kitchenette (small fridge, microwave, sink, dishes, cups, kettle, coffee maker, teas, coffee, etc). There was also a bottle of champagne and chocolates for my sisters to celebrate their birthdays - so thoughtful!! The daily breakfast included (at the Starby hotel) is fabulous! Truly - the icing on an absolutely wonderful cake! I am a very picky house guest, and I had zero complaints. Our stay at Kathy’s guest house was greatly enjoyed. Safety, comfort and cleanliness were surpassed. I can honestly recommend for anyone visiting Vadstena and we would love to return again!
