Everything was fantastic. We stayed in the Clubhouse. Stunning views, lovely kitchen to cook a delicious dinner. It was clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful and welcoming. The springs were magical and the restaurant (seafood soup!!) was delicious. Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, we had the northern lights on New Year’s Eve. Thank you for a wonderful visit. Trip of a lifetime!

The main entrance was a bit hard to find. Great location, friendly staff and nice room. The quilt was very comfortable to sleep under.

Amazing property! Beautiful views of the mountains, perfectly equipped with the necessary kitchen ware. The grill was very nice to have. We of course loved the hot tub and sauna. Alda Hotel is perfectly located along a charming shopping street in Reykjavik. Our room was incredibly spacious with a cute little balcony that made the space feel even more special. The bathroom was large and spotless, and one of my favorite features was the clever entryway setup — it had a bench where I could comfortably sit to put on my shoes or organize my luggage, plus plenty of shelves above and below for storage. A clothes rack right next to it made unpacking so much easier. The bed was super comfortable and gave us the best night’s sleep. But what truly made this stay memorable was the front desk team — they welcomed us with such bright, genuine smiles. After days of encountering mostly reserved or slightly grumpy locals, their warmth was a heartwarming surprise. It was the perfect final touch to our Iceland adventure. 💫
