From the moment of contact my experience with Ithaca was wonderful, through many helpful messaging communications, to helping me with communication with taxi driver and in the helpfulness and genuine kindness and hospitality of the owner and all of the staff. Every staff member was always smiling and pleased to be of service and were always ready to assist with any request. The room is just as shown in photos and was very clean, as was the lobby, hall and kitchen. The decor is lovely - just like being in Greece! The staff all spoke some English which really helped for my first experience in Armenia without knowing the beautiful Armenian language. The internet (wifi) worked well and had a speed of 53down/51 up with a vpn on. The internet connectivity was great - easy for people who need to work remotely and even online calls/videoconferencing worked. The wifi worked well in the room. The place is very quiet and comfortable. The lift works well. Overall great place to stay and I would like to stay there again as my new 'home away from home' whenever in Yerevan next. It was also very close to business offices, banks, restaurants and the public market and there is a grocery store (Carrafour) that is open quite late.

It was clean and in the center of the city (just behind the republic square) I came early in the morning around 4 am to leave my luggage but I found nobody at that time sı I could not leave my luggage. This was the only negative point as it is stated 7-24 reception. Besides the staff was so helpful.

Certainly worth a visit. Operates on Saturdays & Sundays.

Certainly worth a visit. Operates on Saturdays & Sundays. Lots of folk art but bargaining isn't generally accepted. Not everything has a price tag affixed so one is unsure of the real price. Beware of pickpockets
