The location is perfect for those traveling with no car. The interior of the hotel is so modern yet still has a quaint vibe and slight peeks here and there of its history and older charm. The rooms have all the conveniences of the most modern amenities. The Shower is by far THE BEST HOTEL SHOWER I have ever experienced. Such great pressure and a spa like feeling. The staff is wonderful and makes you feel at home. A perfect stay for our Anniversary trip.

FAQs about hotels in Montreal

A Blend of the Urban and the Outdoors

Montreal is the second largest city in Canada and the entry point to Quebec province via Pierre Elliott Trudeau Airport. Montreal truly has it all. Divided into East and West by Boulevard Saint-Laurent, there are several districts to the city, each offering a distinct atmosphere.

Downtown is best explored on foot, as you weave your way through skyscrapers and visit museums such as the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. In the winter you can steer clear of icy paths by heading underground to the passages of the Underground City, full of shops, movie theaters and food courts.

From there, the metro will conveniently take you outwards in any direction you might want to go, from the historic Old Montreal to the hip café and restaurant culture of the Quartier Latin-Le Village.

In summer, stay closer to the historic quarter and head outdoors in Parc Jean-Drapeau on the St. Lawrence River islands of Île Sainte-Helen and Île Notre-Dame. If the weather isn’t good enough for rowing, water-skiing and beaches then head to Montreal Casino.

Whether you’re visiting for festivals or fashion, gastronomy or culture, with over 190 hotels and B&Bs with Booking.com you’ll find your perfect home away from home.

Gorgeous, clean city with lots to do and kind locals.

Gorgeous, clean city with lots to do and kind locals. There's a lot of local cuisine to be eaten and explored from montreal bagels to smoked meats to quibecoise dishes to Jewish delis and French patisseries. Lots of beautiful architecture and historical sites. Very lively and distinct neighborhoods. My favorite must be The Village. Mount Royal, Mile End, Old Montreal, Chinatown, the seaport, and several others are lots of fun to explore too. Super walkable and excellent public transportation. Everyone is bilingual and fluent in English. Lots of thrift shops, a thriving local punk scene, and a tightly knit and supported queer community.

A walking tour is a good start for an overview and to decide what you want to do during your stay A must see is St Joseph’s Oratory. It is out of the centre, probably best by taxi, but totally worth the effort, breathtaking !

I loved Montreal, and discovering the city was so lovely.

I loved Montreal, and discovering the city was so lovely. I have wanted to go to Canada for so long, and it did not disappoint! I loved the European style in Montreal, with some of the structures and coffee shops, but the city had a definite North America vibe that is much appreciated. The old Montreal was amazing to walk through, and I loved discovering so many places within the city. The only thing I would mention is to plan ahead with transportation, because this is not a walkable city by any means!

Great town…..excellent public transportation.

Great town…..excellent public transportation. Lots of variety of food. It is a big city so you need at least three days in my opinion. Did not love Biosphere unless you have kids. Restaurants we loved: Modavie (French bistro in Vieux Montreal), Stash cafe (endlessly charming polish rretsurant in an old church), Mazbi (Yemeni cuisine—super tasty, great value, unique presentation in stone bowls).

Montréal is a beautiful city.

Montréal is a beautiful city. Great areas all distinct, very easy to walk and travel around. Highly recommend a visit. I will definitely be back. People are very friendly, helpful and become friends if you get to know them. This hostel is brilliant, such friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast is great so much to choose from or have a little of everything. So sociable too if you want or not, there are areas you can be seated if you need a little me time. Fabulous, also highly recommend staying here. Great location close to all transport hubs or it is not far to walk. Perfect! 💕💜🇨🇦 Kirstie Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

We took a Viator walk, and that was really fun. The walk along the St. Lawrence River was also very nice. We tried poutine, but I think that's more of a wintertime food. The bagels are awesome! Shop for souvenirs for the grandkids at the IGA grocery store.

A great hotel. The heated rooftop pool is the main highlight. The rooms are spacious and modern. The only thing may not be the most recent renovation, but it is very clean. Separately, I want to say that the bed is very comfortable. We spent 3 nights there and the next time I come to Montreal, I will definitely choose it without hesitation. And also, everything is within walking distance - Downtown, Bell Center, the old port and old city.

It was a nice small hotel with friendly and efficient staff - and appropriate facilities for a business stay of one week. Snacks could be purchased, the laundry room was free of charge, and the small gym. The kitchen corner was well equipped. The neighbourhood is gentrifying, but the location was perfect for walking across the different parts of downtown Montreal.
