The Hotel was very clean and comfortable. The rooms was warm enough.The staffs were friendly, and ready to help. I find the location very ok, we were going to Leukerbad and stayed at the hotel, which was 30mins drive to each other. The food was exceptional, we ate dinner and breakfast. I mean what else would you want. I had a beautiful experience ( I am a dark race) I recommend this, we were there for the new year 2025.

Beautiful located and having the restaurant was even better we loved the fondue. The family room was awesome for the kids having their own bed up in the den.

Beautiful stay, cozy and well appointed. The owners are very friendly and clearly in love with their place. The view is stunning and the property is located outside a small town with easy transportation to both Leukerbad or the nearest train station. Amazing!

The owner is wonderful, super kind and worked hard to make sure we had a comfortable stay. The restaurant and rooms have lovely views of the valley. The facilities are all well-kept and work with no problems. It’s also close to bus stops and funicular which both take you where you need in the area, including right to the train station. Overall 10/10

Extremely idyllic setting up above the village by a forest lake. Beautiful views of the weisshorn. Friendly and helpful owners. The room was spacious and comfortable.

Very cosy hotel. The terrasse is very nice (sunny) and you can see the Matterhorn getting pink in the evening ;-) Nice buffet breakfast, very friendly staff

The breakfast was delicious and situated in a dining room that was beautiful. I loved how they treated the ceiling with the painted flowers and ivy.

I've stayed here 2x before and came back because it's such a lovely place in a great location - two minutes' walk from the bus station at Chandolin Poste, two minutes from the grocery shop, and with an amazing breakfast and dinner offerings. The rooms (I stayed in the bunk bed option but by myself) are very comfortable, with a great bathroom setup (rain shower!), comfy bed, water, coffee machine and pods, and lift access to the rooms. The staff are truly lovely and let us store our overnight bags before and after our stay while we went to work up on the mountain.

The homemade dinners and breakfasts were a real highlight—packed with local ingredients, generous portions, and full of flavor. It’s rare to find such heart and care poured into every detail. We felt incredibly well looked after, and getting to know Emily and John made the whole experience feel deeply personal and special. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the region. We’ll absolutely be coming back!
