Breakfast was good.. chef Benedict did a good job! Micheal was great. My room was super clean. Saw monkeys, sloths, and birds around the cabin.

Property was quiet and clean. The pool was a great way to cool off and we loved using the outdoor kitchen space. Staff was very friendly and the dogs were very cute

The cabins and property are beautiful and well maintained. There are lush gardens and a stream at the back of the grounds. A nice complimentary breakfast was included and Jesus in particular provided great service and a friendly atmosphere. The management obviously cares about guest’s comfort and enjoyment and provided helpful information. The hotel is located close to the Arenal National Park and thermal river. Because it is outside town it is quiet but also close to everything you might need.

Bed was comfy. Location was great. Facilities very nice.

Loved the room—family room had 2 twin beds and a double bed, a kitchenette, a bathroom in room, and opened to the small pool and relaxation area with hammocks and chairs. Also had a large seating and outdoor kitchen area for guests. Convenient to a few restaurants which we enjoyed and a small grocery store, but pretty far from downtown or any attractions. Only a couple minutes drive from most of the hot springs though. Very quiet, probably due to location. Breakfast voucher discounts were good value though pretty limited in options. They did accept credit card on arrival which several people had said was not an option in the past.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tropical Suites & Villas! Property is beautifully landscaped with an awesome view of Arenal. Location was perfect - just a few miles from downtown restaurants and activities. Breakfast was delicious and reasonably priced. Highly recommend!

Check-in was easy despite our late arrival. The supper was very good. The view was spectacular. The room was clean and offered a good view in the back. The hot tub was amazing!

Breakfast was fantastic, hot spring pools were wonderful and consistently cleaned, staff (Maria!) was very friendly!

Clean rooms, comfortable beds, quiet environment. Owners were friendly, helpful, and quick to respond to calls. They have an adorable 1 year old German shepherd.

Loved being just outside the busy town Loved watching the mc caws and toucan's in the yard from 530 am till about 630 every morning Good shower Coffee machine and fridge was nice to have

Located perfectly in downtown La Fortuna. Great restaurants close. Very accesible to many activities and tours.

Free Breakfast at the onsite Restaurant. Friendly staff throughout the whole property. We loved the community kitchen area to allow us to not have to eat out every meal. Property was safe and quiet even with other guests within the property. The hotel is walking didstance to grocery stores, restaurants and bars as well as centraly located to all the adventures of Arenal. There's even a giftshop with esentials as well right in the reception area.

The staff were so kind from our arrival until we left. The rooms were so comfy with so much autonomy for us as guests to manage lights, music, and air conditioning.

I was a little skeptical about the 10 score because only 2 people rated it, but booked anyway. The reason only 2 people rated it was because it just opened end of December. After staying there for 5 nights I gladly confirm the 10. This 14 room boutique hotel is a mix of hotel and art exhibit. The service was incredible, the food was outstanding and the large property just beautiful. The walk down to the river coming out of Arenal Falls was my favorite activity. I did it every day and sitting next to this wild river among the flora and fauna was incredible. When I left this wonderful hotel I realized the staff even had washed my dirty car. I met the owner Felix and his wife who treated me like a friend. He created a gem and he and his staff should be proud to be able to over such a beautiful place to his guests. This is not just a hotel, it is a work of love, art and nature he is offering his guests.

This hotel is amazing. The location is perfect for exploring the area, with incredible views of the Arenal Volcano. Everything is designed to make your stay enjoyable and relaxing.

Beautiful place. Really close to everything but far enough to enjoy some relax time.

The facilities are great and excellent location

The rooms were nice and cozy, clean with some basic kitchen supplies. Pool was nice area. Hammock outside of the rooms, grounds were beautiful. Staff were great and very helpful.
