Clean and comfortable, right next to the train station

service was amazing, beds are soft and it’s very dog friendly!

I don’t know how people gave low ratings for this place. The staff is great, they gave me free coffee in the morning, didn’t charge for my stuff to wait there for a few extra hours. Room was clean, bed was clean, towels were clean. I recommend it for sure.

Very central location! the facilities were absolutely modern and clean. Room equipment was brand new. The bar service was very satisfying. The staff was helpful and kind. Price was very reasonable.

We were traveling by bike. They had secure bicycle parking. It had a beautiful lobby and stairs. It was just a few blocks from the train station and close to restaurants.

Everything you expect from a Mercure Hotel. Nice receptionist. Clean and modern rooms.

At the great price (off-season, Christmas), I was pleasantly surprised to find a refrigerator and a full size mirror, as well as TV (which I never use) in the room. The location is superb, close to the train station and the center, but not really noisy outside, just some passerby(s). Shared facilities were clean and plentiful with 2 WC and 3 showers per floor. Wi-Fi worked great. Check-in is mostly via key-box, but well explained and easy to use. The room was warm, but with no temperature control.

Second stay at Ferrotel in Duisburg to attend an event in Messe Essen and everything was great and as expected. The rooms were spotless clean, the mini breakfast helped us to get going in the morning, staff was friendly, we had a good night sleep. Very good value for money overall.

The rooms are clean and comfortable. The bathroom was newly renovated.
