Beautifully prepared rooms. Comfortable and super close to the two things one comes to do: eat and the Escorial. Laura was super friendly and helpful with the check in process.

It was DARLING!! I LOVED the ambience and the way it 'felt'. It was such a LOVELY place. I considered postponing the Madrid portion of my trip so I could stay longer; but it wasn't feasible with the rental car and I could not cancel my Madrid Hotel for that night. Maria and the team made my stay wonderful. I can not say enough nice things about this wonderful place.

I liked the host, the services, the room, and the location of the hotel! We were so impressed with this charming hotel that we are planning to go back and book it for a week to explore more San Lorenzo and the Escorial- I recommend Posada Don Jaime without reservations!

The matrass was good and let me sleep well. Enough towels, bathroom in the room, very clean, friendly staff, close to amenities needed, gave me the coffee I asked for that I ordered. Easy and quick check in and check-out. Old school hotel with a room key.

It was warm in the room, I even had to turn off the heating, a large, comfortable bed, and I was very pleased that there was a bathtub, not a shower
