Liked everything! Lovely room, nice bar and restaurant but most important was the staff, particularly the concierge and doorman!!

We spent four nights here over Christmas, as a family that travels a lot, this was a stay that really stood out. The staff went the extra mile and the attention to detail was unparalleled. From a little robe and slippers for our daughter. Milk and cookies every evening. One detail that I’ve never had before, was our charing cables next to the bed were neatly tied every night. The staff were all tremendous, if there was an option for a 6th star ⭐️ that would’ve been well deserved.

Everything. The person who received us and assisted us was the best! So helpful and caring. Wish everyone was like her! We were taking a 3 day tour after staying here and had not managed to get availability at this property so had to choose another. We asked the other if we could leave our bigger luggage there before check in and they said no. We were going to pay at the train station to leave it but the Terrace Hotel offered to keep it at no cost. Made things easy for us! Loved it and love them! Room was enormous with all necessary an view to the garden!

Lovely room. Ideal location for us - bus ride or walk to city centre. Local street parking using RingGo app. Mostly 4 hour parking but 9 hours on Annandale Rd. Car could be extended for up to 4 hours the following morning.

Motel One was so much fun! It is now my preferred hotel in Edinburgh. I paid extra for a city view, worth it! Location close to tour bus stations, Waverley Station, Royal Mile, Grassmarket, Apple computer store on the ground floor of the hotel (upgrade your computer knowledge with an Apple specialist!) Hot breakfast, fast WiFi, European and UK outlets, proper vibes in common spaces as well.

It is very close to everything. Edinburgh Waverley Train Station is 10 mins walk. All major tourist spots is within 20-30 mins walk and it is close to amazing restaurants and cafes. The staff are very kind and accommodating.

Very central in the new town. Literally on the main street of the social scene. Rooms were small hubs and very modern, but perfect for what I needed. Air con, hot water, comfy bed, digital room, high security.
