Everything about this hotel spoke "quality". Reception welcome, friendly staff, attention to detail in the room, luxurious touches such as body lotion, conditioner, biscuits, robes and slippers... modern light and curtain and heating and door indications controls. Food was excellent. Gym and spa small but comfortable and great for city centre location.

FAQs about hotels in Dublin

Great History, Greenery & Pubs

Dublin is home to more than a quarter of the entire Republic of Ireland’s population and was originally founded as a Viking settlement. A lot has changed from those Viking days, and Dublin is now famous for its literary history and the most green spaces of any European capital, making Dublin a real Irish gem.

Dublin Castle is at the heart of the city's history and Trinity College houses the renowned Book of Kells, a beautifully illustrated manuscript from circa 800 AD. The Ha’penny Bridge is the city’s most photographed landmark and the statue of Molly Malone celebrates the heroine of Dublin’s unofficial anthem.

Dublin is home to many important literary figures including Oscar Wilde, William Yeats, Samuel Beckett and George Bernard Shaw. As the famous location of James Joyce’s “Ulysses”, the city offers tours tracing the protagonist’s footsteps.

As one of the youngest European cities, Dublin has vibrant nightlife with the popular Temple Bar area and plenty of bars and pubs, which invite you to stay out until the wee hours of the morning.

Dublin Airport is the gateway to your Irish vacation, so whether you’re looking for a stylish hotel, an independent apartment or a trendy hostel, Booking.com has a perfect deal for your Dublin trip.

A pretty and interesting city; however it felt over-crowded and overly "touristy" in the Temple Bar area. Lots of very good quality live music still on offer though. Large variety of cafes, bars, restaurants etc. I enjoyed the more relaxed vibe of the Stoneybatter area over the city centre. Some lovely parks to enjoy on a sunny day.

If you're visiting Dublin and unless you have limited accessibility I'd recommend staying outside anywhere from Booterstown to Dun Loaghaire on the coast. The dart is excellent with speed, and routes to some lovely walking areas, beaches between Dublin and Greystones to the south and Howth, Malahide to the north. There's beaches galore and Killiney park is a fabulous day out. Walk up the park (an old quarry) to the pyramid and follow the wall down into Dalkey with it's small castle. Howth Head is a must for walkers.

Be aware that Dublin is particularly rife with drugs and addicts and homeless. On our entrance to the hotel we were confronted by a man high on drugs with his t shirt off and his hand down his trousers. I appreciate this is not the hotel's responsibility but be aware that Dublin is unnerving AND expensive.

Excelent hotel in a great location for a Dublin city stay. Friendly staff with excellent facilities.Corner room with very comfy bed, that had a fantastic view of the City and river. Very safe and convenient parking, excellent Italian restaurant ( Milano) beside the hotel, Luas train line and convenience stores close by. Short beautiful walk to city centre or 3 Arena along the Liffey River. Easy and convenient to drive to if you use the toll tunnels.

Spacious and perfect apartment to spend a few days in the city of Dublin. The beds were comfortable and the living room/kitchen was big enough. The place has easy connection to the airport and to the city centre, but still 30 mins away from the city center by foot. The kitchen was fully supplied with all type of food and equipment, so that was good to cook at home or have breakfast at home.

Excellent staff, clean, comfortable beds and very quiet. We barely noticed there were other guests at the hotel. The location is perfect, walking distance from the city centre while also being a little out of the noise of the city. My second time staying here and will 100% be back if I come back to Dublin!
