Loved that the property itself was a sight to behold and explore already. We had access to history. Great customer service especially from Ravi and the staff who took such great care of us and our daughters who celebrated 2 birthdays during our stay at the hotel. Ravi and team made sure we all felt special.

The hotel is wonderful; the photos accurately reflect its facilities, the location is amazing, the staff service is excellent, and the cleanliness is outstanding. The hotel is in the old town, among small streets, so it’s essential to coordinate transportation with the hotel—they have an authorized access route that regular Uber or tuk-tuk drivers are not familiar with.

From the moment you arrive at the jetty, to the warm welcome at check-in to the actual setting of the hotel itself, Leela Palace is a stunning hotel. The staff are amazing including a personal concierge who will take care of anything you need during your stay. Whilst there are many other hotels in the area, a stay in Udaipur on the lake itself if a must. It is well worth taking a guide to visit the nearby palace and sites.

Rooms are very nice. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I would like to call out Rawan especially. I had an issue while travelling and he went above and beyond outside of work hours to help me resolve it.

Jagat Niwas Palace is the most beautiful, romantic hotel in Udaipur. The hotel offers stunning views from both its restaurants. The food is priced reasonably and is very good quality with great service. Overall our stay was incredibly memorable and we were very sad to leave !

Great location close to the lake ( some rooms have a lake view) and very close to the city palace entrance. Excellent views from the roof terrace . There is a jacuzzi but we didn’t have time to use it. It’s a small hotel (4 rooms) and so we got to know the staff by the end of our stay. All the staff were very friendly and helpful . Very good breakfast included . On our last day we didn’t leave the city until 10pm and they let us store our bags and sit for a while.

Room was big, clean and comfortable. Front desk staff were super helpful with itinerary and suggestions and help. It was wonderful stay.

Our room was beautifully decorated and was facing to lake. Wonderful breakfast and also very good restaurant at rooftop with delicious food a beautiful view of the lake at night.

A great place in a great city. All points of interest are within walking distances from this place.

Stayed here for 3 nights and it was beyond our expectation. Once we get into the hustle bustle of Udaipur's Old City, it was a bit overwhelming. But once we got into the gates of this hostel, we felt instantly at home. Every corner was designed beautifully, especially our very beautiful orange room with the turquoise door. We took a lot of photo at the picturesque window nook :D. Not to mention the place was squeaky clean, the breakfast was nice, and the service is detailed and warm. We also got good recommendations for tour guide and craft shops. Akshay (the owner) surely had a great taste and a vision with his business. Will recommend this place to everyone visiting Udaipur who wants to have a memorable stay, not only a room to sleep.

Good food. Good location. Decent room with lake view restaurant

The location was perfect! The rooms were huge and very clean. We booked all three rooms for our group. The room on the third level had an amazing terrace overlooking the lake. Perfect for a predinner drink to watch the sunset. Despite being a relatively modern building, it had a lot of charm, with heritage features. We found the staff very helpful. When some of us were unwell Jessu was concerned and offered good advice about what to eat and what to avoid.
