It was a wonderful experience, starting with the high-quality welcome drink of orange juice. As I indicated in the short-answer questions: friendly and skilled staff, excellent food in the restaurant at a decent price. The room accomodations were quite clean. The mosquito net was a very convenient design that allowed easy protection without interfering with the bed space at all, and allowing easy entry and exit to/from the bed. So, overall, a very enjoyable experience.

Beautiful hotel! Grand staircase and lobby. Rooms very large and comfortable. Large bathroom beautifully appointed - even a weigh scale. Turn down service- haven’t see that in years! Judith did a wonderful job on our room with extra decorative touch with our bed spread! Spent two lovely days relaxing around the lovely pool. A nice quiet time after a busy holiday season. Very nice breakfast choices. Great coffee.Lovely staff- special thanks to Joram for wonderful service. And Catherine and Collin’s. Spa and gym on site. Had a lovely dinner with family around the pool - complete with chimea fire.

The rooms are spacious and beautiful, overlooking the lush gardens. The concierge was very helpful with restaurant reservations, arranging transportation and recommending shops and activities.

We had an amazing stay at Karen Plains Hotel and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Nairobi. The location is perfect—very close to great malls, with food options and all kinds of shopping, and Uber is extremely convenient, making it easy to move around. The hotel itself is very clean, and the rooms are super spacious and comfortable, which made our stay very relaxing. What truly makes this hotel unique and exceptional is the staff. A special thank you to Sharon, Lavinia, Allena, Shila, and Esther—they are absolutely outstanding. Always smiling, always ready to help, and they genuinely make you feel welcome. Housekeeping kept the rooms perfectly clean every day. The breakfast was excellent. The chef was very attentive and often came out to ask if everything was okay, which we really appreciated. And the chicken samosas were amazing—truly delicious! Management, you should be very proud of your team. Big kudos from me and my family. We highly recommend this hotel, and when we come back to Nairobi, we will definitely stay here again.
