We had to book this hotel last minute because the other one we've had originally was disgusting. Upon arrival just 20 mins after booking, the manager checked us in in quite fast Rooms were spacious and had good mountain view Breakfast is continental, but portions are good Swimming pool looked good, however we didn't try because of the weather

Simply stunningly beautiful hotel set in acres of farm land. Such a fabulous place to relax and unwind. Loved the farm tour, so interesting, and the pool was wonderful. Delicious food and incredible staff!

Our stay here was amazing. We spent the month in numerous places throughout Sri Lanka and this was the highlight of our trip. Very clean facilities, the hosts were incredibly nice and cooked the best home cooked meals! We upgraded to the top floor and would highly recommend doing so. The sunset was one of the best we’ve ever seen. An amazing spot to get away from the hustle and bustle within the towns. The owners have a tuktuk that can meet you down where the road gets rocky or you can walk it. Our taxi driver was convinced he could drive us there but was unable to do so, just a heads up to not plan to be dropped off right in front unless you coordinate for a tuktuk with the hosts. Hiking is amazing and the knuckles five peaks trailhead is very close. FYI WiFi and tea do cost additional money but it was worth it for us

The place is nice and secluded in nature. Simple, clean and comfortable accommodation in the jungle which fits the experience. The food (breakfast, lunch and dinner) is plentiful and you will not go hungry! The walk to Meemure and the lakegala view is around 30-45 minutes on the road. Meemure does not have a village centre or hub, it's comprised of house and guest houses scattered along the road (there is one shop and an ATM, so don't expect cafes and restaurants). So staying here rather that Meemure "centre" makes no difference to the experience, as you will spend your evening in a guest house. The family are communicative on WhatsApp and help you with hiking guides and transport. I arrived by bus and they were waiting by the road to guide me to the property (I do not think I would have found it on my own in the dark as it's set away from the road).
