Hotels near Zocalo Square, Mexico City

We spent 3 nights in the hotel. We enjoyed our room very much, which was very clean and super comfortable. The location in Zocalo is excellent, and the rooftop has an amazing view at the square. The breakfast was amazing, as well as the free snacks during the day. The staff was very helpful.

The location of the property at Calle Uruguay it’s really a privilege. Not only for the near by well known places such as el Zocalo, also, the convenience stores. The rooms are really comfortable and the breakfast delicious.

Staying at NH in Centro Histórico was an amazing experience. Great location, we were walking distance from Zócalo, lots of shopping & great food. The rooms were very comfortable, clean & the staff were amazing. I can’t wait to come back and stay here again. Thank you NH for making my stay and birthday amazing. Getting a surprise piece of cake brought to my room was incredible.

I like the location, it was near everything.

Excellent location with many great places of interest within walking distance. Rooftop breakfast was outstanding, with a varied menu, food was always hot fresh and not too spicy. Room was extra clean with excellent wifi and varied TV programs. Private drivers are available for airport transportation.

We liked EVERYTHING! Clean, well-kept room; beautifully upkept ancient building; friendly staff; located perfectly for our visit to government offices, historic area, metro stops, and tourist hubs.

The staff was professional, polite and friendly. Thecview of the terrace was extraordinary! The facilities were neat and first class. We felt like VIPs.

Often, the value of actual hospitality is underrated in the hospitality industry, and it's overshadowed by fancy facilities and frills. Not at Gran Hotel, where the staff treats you like their own guest. They are warm and will go out of their way to help you out. Oh, and the hotel itself is a heritage site with exceptional facilities & a location to kill for! Absolute, must visit. If I am ever in Mexico City again, I am staying at Gran for sure.

I loved every moment of my stay! Definitely central to all the tourist and shopping spots in CDMX. What’s not to like about the mysterious chill vibes of the hotel, the popping famous restaurant below, and the accommodating staff? Also the breakfast included in our booking was top notch. Plus a refreshing albeit tiny pool to enjoy. I highly recommend this hotel and can’t wait to return! ( Some photos are from our trip. I couldn’t delete them)

What I liked that it was close to down town and we could walk to places cause they were close to go walking.

The hotel was wonderful, staff so friendly, facilities and location good. It's central to all spots. They have a restaurant with good food and prices. I will be back there!

The best breakfast (for its value). Expect fresh organic fruit with a main dish.
