Clean room, friendly and helpful staff, very good location.

Location was fantastic, right in the heart of Jonker Street where the night market was and easily accessible. Staff were friendly, courteous and very helpful. Rooms are clean and not old. FOC breakfast came as a little surprise:)

Location brilliant and staff exceptionally helpful. Facilities topnotch and even though our kids were older they loved the slides! We had lots of baggage and they assisted us. So sorry we were in such a hurry with transport that we neglected to tip those who assisted.

Nice stylish hotel. The reception and hospitality were very nice. Location is 5min walking distance from the very touristic area, which is a big plus.

The historic building has a prime location: facing the river and waterfront wall, a stones’ throw from the heart of the main tourist attractions but away from the mobs and noise. The building is clearly from another era—wooden floors and stairs, antique-ish furniture, plain but pleasant. The small room had a window overlooking the river and attached efficient bath plus essential air conditioning for that steamy climate. While the owner was pleasant and helpful if asked, there was no service such as emptying the wastebasket—no small thing when toilet paper goes there not down the drain. Though I am unfamiliar with Malacca’s prices, $50 a night seemed high. Finally: there is live music most nights—folk-ish and acoustic—in the ground floor restaurant.

This is probably my favorite place to have stayed on my trip in Southeast Asia so far. It is literally in the middle of everything. It’s a half a block from the walking Street and the night market and the river and exploring the wonderful city that is Malacca. It’s a old Chinese built designed building that’s been converted into a hotel. It has nice rooms. They’re comfortable. It’s quiet the staff is incredibly nice. She just can’t believe how great they are.

Location, location, location! You can’t beat being in the heart of all action and everything one needs to see. Bathroom had a great shower and was clean. The room could’ve have been cleaner (surfaces, specially), but the beds were comfortable and very clean.

Loved the location, next to the river and very close to Jonker street. Hotel staff were friendly and room was clean with a view of the river below. It was very quiet though the property is next to the river n the road.

Pictures don't tell everything. In the end we changed to another hotel and forfeit the money cos no refund. No wonder the price was only at $87 for 3 days 2 nights stay

Great location on a quiet street, offering the best of both convenience and tranquility. I loved having the option to walk along the main road or take the more scenic path by the canal. Jonker Street is also easily within walking distance, making it perfect for exploring the area. There are plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby. A popular spot, "Restoran Baba Kaya", is just less than 1-minute walk away. Friendly staffs !
