AustraliaThe room was spacious, airy and great natural light. Being really close to the beach meant I could have an early morning swim easily. As we were in the back part of the hotel it was relatively quiet, considering Baies de Citrons is renowned for it's spirited nature. Staff were always helpful and friendly. My brother and I took our 82 year old mother to New Caledonia for a holiday and the staff ensured she had a lovely stay. She really felt looked after there. Easy walking distance to a number of cafes and restaurants, bars.

PalauThe staff were very friendly and helpful. They spoke English very well. I really appreciated the support from a particular staff, Marie, from Wallis and Futuna. She was so nice to me.
Also there was a small shop very near to the hotel which was super convenient

Snorkel at the north and south ends, don't bother with the...
Snorkel at the north and south ends, don't bother with the middle. Good at all tides. In the south, you can launch at high tide from the steps where the dark seawall ends and swim for the marker (the best reef is beyond it in that direction). At low, just launch a bit further north to skirt the broken reefy bits until you get to the marker. Tons of fish and good coral - less range of sizes now there's a shark net, so you won't see a big turtle, for example.

Nice beach area.
Nice beach area. There's a restricted swimming zone for public. This is due to a shark attack that happened in early 2023 in Anse Vata area. But metal nets are being installed to prevent sharks from swimming too close to the shores and to protect the public.
Enjoy a leisurely walk along the esplanade from Baie de Citron to Anse Vata early in the morning or during dawn. The sunset view along Rocher à la voile is magnificent.
I highly recommend the Babar Cafe next to Hotel Beaurivage. Endulge yourself in some mouth-watering ice cream at Amorino located in Mirage Plaza.

Beaches are currently closed all round Noumea due to sharks...
Beaches are currently closed all round Noumea due to sharks so if you want to swim /snorkle be prepared to go to day trip to the outer islands. The beaches also have SO much broken glass on them, was really disappointing as walking with no shoes in the sand wasn't an option

The room was basic however very clean, cute bathroom and good value for money. It had a great cafe directly next door which was convenient. It was in a great location across the road from Baie des Citrons and on the main strip of restaurants.

The size of the apartment is great. The location between Baie des citrons and Anse Vata is excellent. The snorkelling across the road at Baie des Citrons is excellent, and the aquarium nearby is excellent. There are many restaurants nearby and it is a short drive (or medium walk) to get to a supermarket.

The room was spacious with a nice balcony and the location was excellent. Right on the water at Baie des Citrons and with a quirky restaurant and bar right there. A five minute walk to the aquarium, 30 seconds to the beach and 20 minutes by bus to Centre Ville.

Deluxe room with view was beautiful. Nice staff and cleaners. Location great for pool, playground, TCHOU TCHOU tour, and 15min walk to Baie des Citrons. Walls fairly sound proof.
