The room was great and quiet, reception was extremely helpful with our late arrival due to circumstances beyond our control i.e. luggage was lost by Singapore Air and SAS. Breakfast was a triumph.

The staff is impeccable. Anticipating needs, going beyond the European standard.

Great location in the very centre near Fish Market and with a beautiful view on Bryggen (better view from rooms higher than 3floor) The room was spacious, comfy bed and pillows, everything new and fresh. Delicious breakfast, friendly staff.

The location is excellent for walking and the airport bus was a few steps away!

Aesthetically fun departure from many of the minimalist Scandinavian places we stayed on this trip- loved the decor and the seating areas through out the property. Exceptional staff!!

Spacious room with sitting area (couch and desk); fridge and ironing board/iron INSIDE the room! Most comfortable bed of all the places we stayed during our ~2 weeks’ travels. Spacious bathroom and great shower. Would welcome face/wash cloths for the shower but most of the hotels we stayed didn’t offer these either. We had read prior reviews and did pack our own -thankfully! So close to the airport (1.5 miles) and also close to many restaurants; huge mall too. Huge and good breakfast! Great place to stay in Bergen!

The food! Amazing breakfast and lunch to go.

Modern, comfortable, appealing designs in room and public areas. If not for major airline delays I would have liked to hang out more and enjoy the hotel more before early flight the next day. Easy check in, very friendly staff, incredible breakfast spread with so many delicious choices. It’s was a 7-8 minute easy and direct walk from the terminal, or a VERY short taxi ride. Makes for a quick early or late arrival flight. Very pleased with my stay here.

Good price. Facilities in the motel room are basic. Great that they included free breakfast.

Very nice and well managed hotel situated in a perfect location. Breakfast was wonderful and rich of choices and the bar in the hotel lobby was very relaxing. A very kind staff. I would like to return some day.

Outstanding breakfast! Dining room staff, especially Josiah, were always helpful and friendly. The balcony suite was perfect for our needs.

Great location. Right in the center of town. Walk was 15-20 minutes from train station. Just down the way there is tram which we could have used to/from train station. Tram #1. We used same tram to get to the airport. Easy to use ticket dispensers with English option. Room clean, very comfortable in historic building. Bathroom was added later. Other customers mentioned concern regarding "clear" shower walls/door. They are glass but have design on them. I could see my husbands feet :) Our room was good size and had lovely balcony right on the square. Had great quiet night of sleep with balcony door open. Very friendly staff/helpful staff. They really aimed to please. Wonderful breakfast. Some burlesque type art on some walls. Non-issue. Its Europe.

The location was within a short walking distance of everything we needed during our visit, including the train station for our early morning departure.

We loved everything. The location can not be better. A very special building. Breakfast and dinner at Frescohallen was really wonderful. Really the best place to stay in Bergen.

Clean and tidy and the bed was very comfy. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great, with a wide selection of hot and cold items: from eggs and bacon, to cold cuts and cheeses and salad items. Easy stroll into the Old Town and the harbour

The location was great, very close to a beautiful park and also not too far from the center, we walked every time. We loved the room as it was bigger than we thought. Everything was modern, clean and comfortable. We loved that they rented umbrellas!
