Beautiful hotel; great location; super friendly and helpful staff

Been there before with my wife, for business, and we had a wonderful experience. Fundamentally I hate super modern hitels that have no soul and character. That's why we chose Scala Boutique Hotel. A bit like the good French prestige "Relay et Chateaux" or the English "Historic House Hotels". Following that, I explicitly wanted to stay again in this hotel. Had even a pleasant surprise when I arrived as I was upgraded at no extra cost. Definitely has become my choice of stay whenever I will come again to Bucharest

It was very close to the metro and very central in town. It also seemed BRAND NEW on the inside and outside. It was very clean and everything was cleaned on schedule. The hotel even packed our breakfast for us as we were leaving before the hotel’s buffet opened one day. Very friendly staff.

Bed was sooooo comfy. Staff were amazing.

Besides the great location, the very center of the old capital Bucharest, and the beautiful surroundings, what impressed me a lot was the Hotel staff who were extremely supportive and helpful giving me a lot of info, especially Mrs Nicoleta and Andreea.

Could not have asked for more - reasonably priced parking, great room, stellar location.

The location was excellent and the neighborhood quite and safe. 5-10 minutes walk to the Old Town. The room was clean, well equipped and the towels were changed every day. The Staff very friendly especially Julia who took care of the breakfast, which by the way was very rich.

The location is ideal, situated in the heart of Bucharest. There are numerous restaurants, coffee shops, and markets in close proximity. The staff is exceptionally friendly and kind. I appreciate the charm of the old building, as it allows me to experience the city like a local. If you prefer a modern, five-star style, this may not be the best choice. However, as a traveler, I thoroughly enjoy immersing myself in the local culture, and staying at this hotel provides a truly fulfilling experience.

This is a charming hotel in the center of Bucharest close to all major attractions. It cultivates old world charm combined with modern amenities. Do not expect extras like a spa or a gym; it is in fact a boutique hotel located in a historical building, and that makes it special. The staff is very competent and friendly. They also serve a very good breakfast. The pastry shop is, and has long been, famous for its specialties - absolutely worth sampling.
