I enjoyed my two night stay at the Norndee. I really liked the architecture of this boutique hotel. The location was great, just a few steps from the Cicada and Tamarind Markets (a must visit if staying in HuaHin). As a solo traveler, the room was perfect for me. Coffee set-up is included in the price (a must have for me). The breakfast that was provided was perfect. It’s not a full buffet but more of an expanded continental. The hotel is super clean and well maintained, you can tell the owners and staff take pride in their building. Here are two examples of great customer service at the Norndee. 1. I checked in around 11am, knowing the room wouldn’t be ready until 2pm. I used the pool for a short time to cool off and then headed out to the beach. When I returned at 3pm, the room was ready and my bags had been placed in the room. While this might be expected at a high end resort, it was not expected at this boutique property. 2. I generally don’t need housekeeping to refresh my room on such a short stay so I usually have the “do not disturb” sign on the door. I do need my coffee and water replenished and will generally go to the front desk for these items. When I got back to my room in the afternoon, there was a bag on my door handle with bottled waters and additional coffee supplies! That to me is customer service and again reflects the pride this owner/staff have. Thank you for a great stay! I can definitely recommend Norndee.

The hotel is big, but quiet. Looks very new. Everything works perfectly. There is enough place for everyone to feel comfortable. The rooms are comfortable and clean, beds are super cozy, curtains can make the room completely dark which makes sleeping even better. Ocean view is great especially for sunrise lovers. The breakfast is amazing, you can find food for any taste. Service is excellent. Great value.

The quality of handcrafted goods at this Market (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) is incredible. The free entertainment is without doubt something for everyone, children and/or adults. The food market is good but I would recommend the Tamarind Market next door (1 min walk) also open the same time plus a Thursday night. It is definitely a place to visit and spend a couple of hours. Bus taxi (green and white open sides) is 15 BHT max per person just flag one down and then press the bell to get off at Cicada Market.

Enjoyable place which is open all evenings from Thursday until Sundays. They have live music, offer street food and lots of high quality Thai handicrafts and have an art section where you can buy paintings by local artists but can also watch them creating a piece of art on canvas. During my time (February 2024) it was not crowded at all and personally I found this the best tourist market in Hua Hin.

Go there before sundown so you can find a parking spot across the market. At the market, tour around before deciding to buy what food to eat or items to have. I bought takoyaki, scallops, and mango sticky rice. Although they were pricey compared to the same in other cities in Thailand, they were without a doubt miles better in terms of taste and quality.

We had a wonderful weekend at this place. It's just walking distance down to the beach and Cicada market and Tamarind market as well. Nearest train station is Nong Kae station. I recommend to rent a motor bike to go around. The bed is comfy and not noisy at night and on the hallway. The owner, Kate is very responsive and sent us the info how to get in to the apartment before arrival date.

The kids water park and pools were really nice. Yes they are a bit dated and missing some tiles here and there but were clean and the building was actively re-tiling. Small playroom for kids and parking in basement. Located 8minutes from Tamarind and Cicada Market it was convenient for food but a rental scooter is helpful to explore Hua Hin. Beach is a 8minute walk.

My stay at Hua Hin condo was exactly what I was actually looking for in order to have an amazing weekend in Hua Hin. The location is great, close to the beach, close to the Cicada market, but at the same time, the enclosed area of condominium offers the needed privacy. I also like how it was easy to get fast in contact with the person responsible for quick repairs when the light bulb needed to be changed. I would certainly recommend this place!

The apartment was excellent, very clean, with polite staff and everything we needed. It’s just a 2–3 minute walk to the beach, and the Tamarind and Cicada markets are about 10 minutes away on foot. The sea is clean. There are many families in the condo, and there’s a kids’ water park as well. Thank you for your hospitality!
