Chaba Bungalows is a fantastic place to stay right on the beach, which made the experience extra special. The bungalows are simple, clean and comfortable, and the setting is peaceful and relaxing. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and they can easily organise tours and travel arrangements, including airport pick-up from Krabi, which made everything hassle-free. A great spot to unwind and enjoy Koh Lanta — highly recommended.

The location was perfect. Close to everything we needed and right on the beach. Great restaurant with a beautiful view of the sunset. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. Helped us with laundry and taxi services around! The room was very spacious and clean with a nice deck to sit on in the evenings.

True to its name, this resort was absolutely wonderful!! The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The bungalows were just as photos depicted. Pool area was amazing. 5 minute walk to Long Beach. Couldn’t have asked for a better spot to stay on Koh Lanta. Would 100% stay here again.

Property and room: Although it is a little outdated and older, the upkeep, maintenance and cleanliness was really great. You could see them taking so much care to keep everything nice and tidy. Room was cleaned every single day and water + toiletries provided. AC was also really nice. Really good pool and views. Quiet surroundings but the main road is easily accessible. Staff: such lovely caring people, working each day to make sure we're happy, arranging tours, transfers and rentals with a big smile and lots of authenticity. Breakfast: international stuff was pretty basic but really decent. They had also this breakfast and that changed every day so lots of variety In short: We had such a great time at the salatan resort. The owner and her staff are such caring people and are working hard to make it a memorable stay. Thank you so much for the warmth and love. Will definitely book again if we go to Koh lanta! 10/10

Such a great hotel! We stayed somewhere else much further south for most of our stay and had we not been locked into that reservation, I think we would have came here for longer. The room was nice and clean with a little terrace overlooking a field. This part of town is quiet and it seems that locals live around here. The quiet is so nice, we listened to the crickets chirping as we fell asleep and woke up. What makes this hotel stand out and go above and beyond is the kindness of the owners. They were extremely accommodating and so kind throughout our stay. We had the opportunity to talk with the one owner a few times as we left and came the hotel. He engaged in conversation beyond just how our day was and if we need anything, asking where we had gone and where we will go so that we could talk about how we liked it. It was so nice and personable! It feels like the owners opened the hotel to connect with travelers and they really care. He brought us a plate of fresh fruit in the morning. We talked about how we were checking out at 7am the night before so he did this at 6:55am!! We were really surprised. We had also said we were walking to the pier for our morning ferry. Shortly into the walk he drove up to us and drove us there. It was so kind!! In my experience, the best places are those with kind and thoughtful owners and staff. And this is exactly how I would describe this place. The kindest and most thoughtful owners who take your stay to the next level. Thank you both so much! We hope to see you in the future.

The location is absolutely perfect, on a beautiful wide sandy beach with good restaurants nearby. You couldn't ask for a better location. We had a wonderful stay, our room was fine, the pool is good for a dip and breakfast was tasty. We didn't have any other meals at the restaurant because it seemed to be closed for dinner.

Things were pleasant and taken care of. Would go there again!

The family who runs the place were great, very helpful. The mom gave me a cake when I played guitar in the lobby, sweet 🤗. Very much recommended and I will be back here next time I'm in koh Lanta 😁👍

The staff is amazing and the hotel is very cute and colourful. The room was cosy and the balcony great. The staff is super helpful and friendly. They helped with boat tickets and scooters and made our stay great.

This is a little paradise on Koh Lanta. The resort itself is very clean with very relaxed beach vibes. The hostess is very friendly and helpful. The food is good and relatively cheap. The price-quality ratio is very good especially for the Wonderfull central location it has. The supermarket and motorbike rental shop are across the street which makes the location of the resort even better. I would definitely come here again!

Beautiful spacious rooms with comfortable beds. The bathroom was especially impressive with a separate tub and rain shower. The beach was lovely and not crowded at all. There is a restaurant but we didn’t eat there. The staff were so kind, helpful, and accommodating. Panpan even came in an hour before her shift to see us off. Thomas and Alice were so friendly as was everyone. I will miss them all including the resident cat named Khāw.

This is as clean, quiet and comfortable as it gets. There are motorbikes to rent. The beach is a two-minute walk away.
