Green Mosque
Resplendent with its green-blue interior, this tiled mosque is an exquisite example of early Ottoman architecture. The marble-covered sandstone building was completed in 1419. It's famous for its turquoise walls, embellished with flower designs and scripture. A tomb ornately tiled both inside and out, a madrasah, an old bathhouse, and picturesque tea gardens complete the scene.
