Property is brand new, very clean and close to all historical location like Hagia Sophia and Hurrem Sultan fountain, so many restaurants and cafes within a 2 min walk.

The location is the best near to tram, metro and bus stops and infront of the hotel have some store for water bottles fir cheap price.. Staff are helpful specially for the directions.

The family that manages the hotel, they had been very nice, hospitable and helpful. The hotel is clean, the room was ok for me as solo traveller and good value for the money if you need only a place to sleep and shower

Very friendly and helpful staff. Very good restaurant. Good breakfast. Right near the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate. It is not a luxury hotel but very pleasant and adequate.

Most of my satisfaction came from where the hotel is located and the staff. The staff was amazing. I had issues with my ticket, so i had to bother them a lot such as using their phone to call airline customer support. The place we got was also amazing and definitely worth the price. Next time i come back to turkey, this hotel would be my choice without hesitation. I will also recommend this hotel to anyone else and every friend of mine who will travel to turkey. P.S Breakfast was amazing too.

The place is perfect. The staff is more than nice, and very friendly. Metro, Bus and Tram are all 200 meters or less far away. The place is clean and very safe.

Husband and wife were so kind to me. They speak good English. It's an old hotel, felt very authentic Turkish! near the water and an old Greek Orthodox church. The setting is in the old city, but away from the tourist crowd. I'm very glad I stayed there.

The staff was very attentive and supportive, helping us with everything we needed throughout our stay. The room and bathroom were clean and in good condition, which made us feel comfortable right away. The neighborhood is great—close to everything—and the surroundings offer a wonderful opportunity to enjoy meals alongside locals, creating an authentic experience.

Stayed for the second time here, everything was as good as before: very convenient location, a comfortable and spacious room, water cooler with free tea and coffee right on the floor. Very nice views from the windows to the city, Haliç Bridge and Galata Tower. Breakfasts were also very good at the rooftop of the nearby building, but this must be arranged upon arrival for some small extra fee, since breakfasts are not included by default.

We stayed at the Junior suite with triple beds, for 8 nights. The suite was very clean, comfortable, spacious and quiet. The Location was great, very easy to reach attractions as multiple transport choices are not more than 5 minutes walk. in addition to various restaurants and caffees in a walkable distance. Breakfast was good, could be better. The terrace on the 4th floor was great, overlooking nice views to the city. Dinner at the Evelik restaurant on the 4th floor was also exceptional, maybe a little high in prices but worth the experience. Coffee drinks, sweets and pastry are available in the evelik bakery in the hotel lobby where the atmosphere is very enchanting.

This is a very pretty and cozy small hotel located within walking distance of most of Istanbul’s popular places, which makes it extremely convenient for exploring the city. One of the biggest advantages is how easy it is to reach — I arrived directly from the airport by metro, which was a huge plus. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and I truly felt comfortable during my stay. Thank you for hosting me — I really enjoyed my time here and will definitely come back again.

The hotel staff were amazing, very kind and helpful they never let us carry our luggage and always carried it to up and down. The location is great suitable for people who can't walk on ramps in Turkish streets, a few minutes walking for all kinds of transport, metro, tram, bus, ferry. Perfect location. this is my 5th time in istanbul and I have been to many higher end hotels, but Marpalace by far was my favorite experience on so many levels. Thanks a lot.
