United KingdomOnce in a lifetime opportunity experience to become part of the fabric of the Jiufen mountains. The walls are old Stone and Mountain with moss and plants. I felt like I’d stepped into a fairytale. This house has so much character and the host could not do enough for us. The delicious soup she prepared for our dinner was a lovely touch. There are so many trinkets in and around the house you can spend the whole day just looking. Like a cave of wonders. Breakfast is provided and there is a stove to cook eggs etc.

The property offers very nice views, with several observation decks around the house.
The room was very spacious and well suited for short stays, with entertainment options such as karaoke.

Excellent place with fantastic view of Jiufen. Love seeing the sunrise from our room and balcony. Short walk to Jiufen Old Street, temples, and bus stop. Family Mart almost next door if needed. Very kind and helpful staff. Huge room with comfortable, king-sized beds and modern bathroom. Good breakfast. Definitely choose this hotel again the next time we visit Jiufen!

Breakfast looked great! Unfortunately we didn't get to try it because it was delivered at ~9am, and we had two little kids who woke up at ~7am and needed breakfast right away. Very cool apartment in a renovated traditional home, great location close to Jiufen Old Street, and responsive host.

Once the fog cleared up, the view was beautiful! Staff were nice and helpful. Lots of free snacks and the location was perfect as the front door opens up right to Jiufen old street and just a short walk from the tea houses. The bathroom was nice and modern with all amenities, including a bidet with heated seat, face wash and even a face mask, which was thoughtful. The hotel even put a heat pad in our room.

Perfect location to juifen old street, even steep stairs. You can go to shopping at Jiufen old street both in evening and morning. That is good for shopper. There is breakfast that fit for one meal. The owner is friendly and kind. There is parking lot next to the hotel. You should call the hotel before you arrive to open the parking lot. The way up is quite steep and curved, there are a lot of cars after you.

Perfect location really close to the Jiufen Old Street. Very nice and friendly hotel manager (family owned). Super clean. Nice interior. Good view from the rooms with balcony and also from the roof terrace that is accessible for everyone.

This hotel is in a great location to visit Jiufen old street, the stairs down to the street are just a few steps away from the hotel. The reception area and common area are very nicely designed, and the common area has windows with an amazing view. We received a nice welcome snack of oolong tea and a matcha tea cake, and breakfast was really wonderful with an assortment of meats, vegetables, rolls, congee, and pickles.
