Moonstone Beach is a bit pricier than it has a right to be.
Moonstone Beach is a bit pricier than it has a right to be. Hotels along the strip are not a great value. The boardwalk is great and you can walk all the way into Cambria but in my opinion it was not worth the price for a generally tired and run down facility.

Location was excellent. Across a not too busy road from the beach, with a boardwalk for morning and evening strolls, with the best sunset that we saw on our trip. Down the street from a very good but not too pricey restaurant, the Moonstone Beach Bar, which was very popular so go early. Breakfast at hotel was good with many options. Ruins were large.

The room was spacious and comfortable. The location is gorgeous and staff wonderful. It has a lovely walk through garden. Hotel is easy distance to downtown and Moonstone beach.

It was a perfect location. The staff was very attentive (staffed 24hrs/d) unlike many hotels along Moonstone Beach. The hot breakfast delivered to our room at the time we chose was amazing! We will return and highly recommend to our friends.

The hotel staff (David) was extremely friendly and professional. The room - king bed, ocean view, hot tub was very clean and well appointed. While the bed was a little soft for our liking we still slept well with minimal road noise or from adjoining rooms. Overall a great stay. We've stayed at just about every hotel on Moonstone Beach and this hotel is right up there with the best of them.

The remodel of the hotel is really well done. Everything is new and clean. They let us have an early check in. The location is stunning, at a quiet end of moonstone beach. We have stayed here several times before and will probably stay again.

Our family loved this little hotel. It's right across the street from Moonstone Beach and an easy bike ride to town. Our room was very comfortable, spacious and well designed. The common areas are nice and comfortable. It was a great family hotel...they had bikes, board games, a great breakfast and friendly staff.

This place is fabulous! All recently updated, in the middle of town with great shops and restaurants and only 1.5 easy miles from moonstone beach! Has a cute garden and walking path in back. Returning in August and canceled our reservation for an oceanfront hotel and coming to Bluebird instead! Great value too!

Expensive stay in a comfortable room. Location in main hotel row of Cambria; about a 10 min drive to town center and most restaurants. Walk across road to Moonstone Beach and boardwalk. Enjoyed the Starbucks coffee and Tazo teas in room. Upgraded room to one with a patio.

The room was amazing and for the cost it was even better. The hotel is located directly across the street from moonstone beach in cambria a little secluded area and one of the best restaurants ive been too with an amaxing view of the ocean
