We wanted to splurge one night in NY, for our 46th anniversary. ( The Carlyle documentary dvd is a favourite of ours.) We normally stay in the Theatre district as we watch a lot of shows. The concierge, Diana, with whom I corresponded, was very thoughtful to send a Bemelman’s Manhattan bottle with tasty hors d’oeuvres. The aides who met us outside, who helped bring our luggage in and got us taxis were very kind. The room was spacious and quiet. Housekeeping brought us large mugs and a tea kettle for our morning tea. Bemelman’s itself is a gem, we loved again the convivial hospitality and service, and enjoyed the piano player.

We like the elegance and luxury feel of the hotel and our rooms. The staff were very attentive.

For start, the location is is top tier, you get city views and they are wonderful, especially if you're higher up. The rooms is very spacious, and for New York to get a shower and a tub - amazing. The staff is really nice and helpful and their new Tapas bar has some cool food you can bring into the room or eat there.

I liked the room upgrade we received. that was great experience. we were given a suite with city view which is amazing.

New, freshly renovated apartment located in a nice building, great location, easy communication.

Property was clean and staff was helpful + friendly. Hallways and rooms are small, but overall served the purpose of having a place to sleep comfortably after a long day of exploring the city. Nearest subway is a 10 minute walk from the property & we found it easy to navigate around.

Excellent Hotel. My family and I are so happy to have stayed in this incredible hotel. The room for four persons is spacious, very clean, beds very comfortable, and the view of the fourteen floor is magic. The breakfast is royal 😋. The staff is very kind and gorgeous 😍 I'm so happy to have met this incredible people. Thank you very much

Staff was super friendly and helpful

The hotel is so clean and cozy, even given the location of it. Don't let that deter you from staying here. The rooms are very clean, the city view is amazing and it being winter, the building is always heated. The staff, although you may not see or hear them really on the room floors, which is a plus, are really nice and helpful

Very clean. There were many towels, blankets and pillows. All the silverware and dishes were clean and did not require a wash or rinse before using. The shower was equipped with conditioner, shampoo and body wash, and there was lotion, too - all of which smelled amazing.

Convenient to museums. Staff was amazing. Felt safe and everything was easy to access.
