The Location, perfect location for all go to places in Ho Chi Minh. Also the staff are very accommodating, helpful, friendly and kind. Small room, big enough bathroom. Good for solo travellers. Beside the market and walking distance to everything in district 1. Nice wee area full of life and street merchandise. Staff are amazing. Roof top area (messy) but nice to chill and see city lights. Happy to stay again.

The place is too busy.

The place is too busy. Vendors get very angry if you cannot speak their language, and bartering is hard when they get so angry. Do not let people entering try to clean or fix your shoes. It is a scam and can cost $30-$40 AUD.

My experience at Ben thanh markets was very disappointing.

My experience at Ben thanh markets was very disappointing. You can not just stroll and look and buy without vendors coming at us from all directions to buy. Ended up walking out from the stress of it all. Was not an enjoyable experience at all compared to other markets in Vietnamese.

This is my third year in a row and as usual went to my reliable ladies (3 sisters) at Shop 408-412. Excellent service and prices for shorts/tops etc. Use entrance on western side opposite money changers; second aisle on the right, head south and they are about 500 metres on the left hand corner . Please tell them "Papa " on the internet sent you.

I enjoy visiting markets, they are always enjoyable to wander around and sample some food but it's just a market. If you're in the city and near by, go visit, but I wouldn't describe it as a must see.

Good place to shop for local stuff to bring back to your country for gift. The money changer near the food stall has very good exchange rate. Unbelievable rate was slightly higher than market rate. Cashew nuts , white, black and even red peppers are available. Oh! And of course local fresh fruits. Must try durian, jackfruit and many more that I can’t name but must try. There are good.

Very central, convenient location. Newly opened so everything feels very new. The staff were very sweet. I was sick during the trip and they were taking care of me. The location is excellent - Ben Thanh Market is right across the road and takes less than 30 seconds to reach. You just need to cross the road from the hotel. It’s perfectly located in the heart of District 1. Breakfast was good. The staff were amazing and always willing to go above and beyond.

I have stayed in many places around Southeast Asia and this apartment stands out for how genuinely central and convenient it is. You can walk to Nguyen Hue Walking Street, the Saigon Opera House, Ho Chi Minh City Hall, Ben Thanh Market, Takashimaya, and Union Square all without breaking a sweat. The room itself is well-kept and thoughtfully equipped. Nothing flashy but everything done properly. That is exactly what look for when I travel.

The breakfast is better than last year, and the staff is quick to move us to another floor after we report seeing a small cockroach in the bathroom. So the staff came in to clean and spray the whole floor. On hot days, there is always fresh ice water in the lobby for everyone . This hotel is in the city centre, so it would save time to go around Ben Thanh Market.

The hotel was clean, the staff very helpful, especially Chén who was lovely and sweet! The breakfast was delicious and had many varieties, they even have daily noodles/soups they can make on the spot if you ask for it. The location is also great, I felt safe walking alone even at night as a solo female traveller, but I only walked around that area. It is also very close to the Ben thanh market (3mins walk).

I had a wonderful stay at Luxury Elegance Hotel near Ben Thanh Market. The location is perfect, right in the heart of District 1, making it easy to walk to shops, food spots, and attractions.
