Beautiful property in the forest of Paraty. The owner was just amazing and made sure that we felt like home. The Chalé is just a 1 minute walk to the river where you can swim in the cleanest fresh water. Not to mention, the breakfast was so good! We will definitely come back!!

The breakfast was simple but delicious. Lots of fresh fruit, fresh-squeezed orange juice, cakes and home-made breads. The coffee was delicious. Scrambled eggs were available upon request. The hosts were very accomodating. The city of Cunha closes up early (many of the tourist sites and restaurants closed at 5 or 6 p.m.) so it was great that the pousada offered a few options for an evening meal. The grounds surrounding the chalets were lovely and the quietness enabled us to get a very good night's sleep. The beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the fireplace as well.
