Our five-night stay at El Tábano was nothing short of unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, Juan made us feel completely at home, his warmth, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality truly elevated the entire experience. The house itself is incredible, offering a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of Bogotá. Surrounded by nature, with a peaceful pond and tranquil atmosphere, it’s the kind of place where time slows down in the best possible way. Whether you’re looking to relax, read, or simply disconnect, this is the ideal setting. One of the highlights of our stay was the jacuzzi, absolute perfection. The water pressure and temperature were spot on, making it the ultimate place to unwind after a day of enjoying the surroundings. Adding to the charm of the property were its unique residents: Argos, the gorgeous Cane Corso who quickly became a favorite, and the most gentle, timid bull you’ll ever meet—both unforgettable in their own way. Everything was spotless and well-maintained, which made our stay even more comfortable. Overall, this was a 10/10 experience, and we would return in a heartbeat. Highly recommended for anyone seeking peace, beauty, and exceptional hospitality.

Everything was excepcional from the location, amazing views, home made breakfast was so delicious and farm animals including Milo the kitty.

Ana and her sister Yola run an excellent hotel. There are several cabins with glass walls and fireplaces. It's very tranquil and only a short walk from the river. There are plenty of nice restaurants with great views within walking distance of Anas Cabins. She was also able to recommend horse riding for us nearby. There are buses on the street that will take you directly into the city and back to the cabins. You literally just hop on any bus, and they all go in the same direction since there is only one main road. Everything was very easy to navigate and felt very safe.
