Wow, wow, wow, what a beautiful location. The lakeside view was amazing, and we even took the little row boat out for a paddle. Although small the Herdsmans Hideaway is very cosy and has everything you need. It was so romantic my partner actually popped the question, I arrived as a girlfriend and left as a fiancé!! The perfect getaway!

Absolutely beautiful throughout. Everything was thought of. Towels, shampoo, bread, milk, butter, washing up liquid, cloths and all in good clean condition. Bedroom was a little on the snug side but it didn't bother me too much. Just somebody who is tall might struggle!

Everything about our visit exceeded our expectations. The food quality was phenomenal, the staff were always ready to assist and the views where incredible. The surrounding area is easily accessible, the Eden Project only being a 40 minute drive away. We decided to "splurge" on Christmas dinner all cooked by one of the owners and it was the best 3 and a half hours of eating we have ever experienced. If you like nachos these are the best we have ever tasted and honestly we would do the 5 + hour drive for them alone! We look forward to visiting again. Best Christmas ever!
