The most comfortable sleep we have EVER had in Bali after years of living here. The mattress, doona, pillows are soooo comfortable you don’t want to get out of bed :-) The pool and surroundings are beautiful, the staff is very kind. 100 percent recommend!

Babakan is spectacular! Everything from the view, the kindness of the hosts, to the exceptional level of cleanliness at the villa. This was my favorite place that I stayed during my three weeks traveling through Bali. The hosts work tirelessly from before sunrise to well after sundown to make the stay at this villa extraordinary. The daily cleaning of the villa and patio area was immaculate. The shower had the perfect hot water, the bedding was crisp and clean white linens, and the view was extraordinary!

Amazing stay. The owner picked me up on his scooter late at night to help me find a key that I lost. Very kind staff. Beautiful spacious room with an epic view away from any main ride and the business of town. I loved my time here and highly recommend though you will need a scooter or to call for a ride in order to get into town.

Excellent all round...enjoyed my experience, staff location management superb. If you don't like bugs spiders and wild life then shigar livin is not for you.

We had a very special experience staying at Pondok Masa Depan. We instantly felt like part of the family. Our room has the most amazing view of jungle and mountains and it’s was so peaceful and tranquil. The room was very comfortable. We had an amazing breakfast and ate the rest of our meals in the restaurant - the food was so good. We enjoyed a programme of activities from rice field hikes to learning about Balinese culture and massage treatments - which was such a healing experience. Ayu and her family and team looked after us so well and gave us the unique opportunity to learn about Balinese culture - it has been the highlight of our 2 month tour of Asia and we were so sad to leave. We hope to come back again one day ❤️

We had an amazing time here. Our room had a huge balcony overlooking Sidemen valley. The pool is nice, food is great, but what really stood out was the service. The staff were so lovely and kind. They even decorated our room for my boyfriend's birthday and brought us cake. Don't miss out on this place!
