Lodges in Balule Game Reserve

We loved everything about our stay at Pondoro. The room was amazing, the food was delicious, the staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable, the setting is truly phenomenal, and we saw the big 5 thanks to our amazing guide and tracker.

This is a seriously special place. Its viewing deck onto the river is spectacular and offers an experience you won’t get at other even more expensive lodges. From the deck we were lucky enough to see Leopard, Hippo, multiple Elephant herds and more. The staff are wonderfully friendly and the meals were great. We have visited many lodges over the years, and this is one we will absolutely go back to.

Naledi is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed. The level of quality service was extremely high. They always anticipated my every need and made sure that I did everything that I had set to do there. The facilities were all very thought out, so that you can maximize your experience at the reserve. The room was superb! The animals get really close to the hotel! The game drives, especially the knowledge of the guides (Oupa and Excellent), their spirit, it was truly amazing. I definitely recommend.

The staff, facilities, food and drink were fantastic. The game drives were a lot of fun, and animals were visible right from the lux property.

What an incredible experience at Muweti. We were hosted by Audrey and our guide Neil. They were both extremely kind and really took good care of us. The room was spacious and comfortable with all amenities you'd expect. The property is well-kept and with only 3 lodges it maintains a calm aura. The food was absolutely spectacular - the kitchen really works wonders. Our day always began with a morning game drive, followed by breakfast, some free time, lunch, and then an afternoon game drive. We rounded off with a sit by the fire and then dinner and drinks. Everything was very well coordinated and efficient. The game drives were super. Not only did we see a lot of animals and birds (Muweti is located inside a private reserve), but the level of knowledge that Neil had was unreal. We learned a lot about the behaviors, habits, and physiology of many animals, birds and even trees from Neil. He's young, talented, and very funny so the game drives were incredibly fun. We'd go back to Muweti in a heartbeat - it was a great experience.

Everything was incredible from the moment we arrived, we couldn't have asked for better staff, food or set up at the lodge. Everything was so well organised and the staff went above and beyond to make our trip even more special! Thank you so much for everything!

The property is super nice, with a fence around it so also safe. Is has a really nice public area with a great swimming pool and view over the parc. While chilling there you can always see some animals.

Highly recommend this lodge! This is the perfect way to do a conveniently planned safari. The lodge is on a game reserve, surrounded by gates, all meals are included, game drives are twice a day. The rooms were clean & spacious, and the lodge area was nice to walk around or swim in the pool. All the food was amazing, the staff was super friendly. The chef cooked us 3 meals a day. Coffee in morning, game drive at 5:30-8:30am (depends on season/sunlight), breakfast, downtime until lunch around 1pm, afternoon/evening game drive at 4-7pm, dinner. We saw lots of animals, 4 out of the big 5, no leopard, but they have been sighted there many times!

We loved everything about our staying, location, food, staff. The game drive was great, we saw all the big five and more. we have always felt safe.I really recommend this lodge. Monica
