I had an exceptional stay at Farquhar Lodge. They delivered well above my expectations. I booked a room for myself for wedding I was attending in the area and I honestly didn't want to leave my cosy room. The bed was comfortable, the air-con was amazing and the shower was perfect. Don't get me started on the breakfast. They literally have perfected what a breakfast should be like. They are now the standard for accommodation.

We had a wonderful stay at Tugela River Lodge. The service was warm, friendly, and welcoming throughout, which made the stay feel relaxed from the moment we arrived. The setting is absolutely beautiful. Being able to swim and kayak in the river was a real highlight, and the walking trails were excellent. Early mornings were especially memorable, with the sun coming up as the mist and morning dew slowly lifted over the landscape. What made it even better was that we could take our five Yorkies with us. They enjoyed the river, trails, and open space just as much as we did. It is rare to find a place that is this peaceful, scenic, and genuinely pet-friendly. We left feeling rested and grateful. We would happily return and recommend Tugela River Lodge to anyone looking for a beautiful, relaxing break in nature.
