South AfricaIt was a wonderful setting in the bush with a great restaurant serving tasty, hearty and well priced meals with friendly staff. We enjoyed the viewing deck and look forward to the completion of the revolving restaurant. The swimming pools and braai area were amazing and we loved seeing the buck on our walks around the lodge. Shannon and Enoch were very helpful and the boat cruise on the lakes was most memorable. The room was spacious and very comfortable.

DenmarkWonderful family hut where we woke up to birds and monkey sounds, at the very edge of the wetlands, and close to the stunning Kosi Beach reserve. Very knowledgeable and helpful host. Food in the restaurant is more than decent, as is their breakfast.

Beautiful lodge with great amenities. Pleasant and helpful staff. Available activities and permits can be booked and facilitated via the lodge at reception, which was nice, or else they have great recommendations for places and the people who can help with niche activities.

We picked this lodge for its location to the Kosi Bay border crossing into Mozambique. We weren’t expecting much. But Wow - we wish we had booked to stay longer. Great self catering apartment with outside seating and BBQ. Lovely pool. Helpful staff. Fabulous food.
The drive from the town down the sand track road was interesting - it is well signed posted but does feel like you are heading off into the unknown. We did not have a 4x4 and managed the drive easily - just take your time and drive carefully
