The chalet are very comfortable, on a hillside, away from the main touristy bigger hotels. It is quiet and you feel like you sleep in the forest. There is a steep hill to walk back but it didn’t bother us. The breakfast included is quite generous.

Ambong Rainforest Retreat offers an adult-only getaway amid tropical surroundings. Located on a steep hill within the rainforest, rooms are only accessible via long staircases.

I was surprised when I found a similar place in this area and in Malaysia in general, such a Balinese vibe, very clean, everything is new and smells delicious, in the kitchen there is coffee/tea and various cookies as a compliment, the staff is very polite and always comes to the rescue, everything on the territory is clean and green, lots of plants and very quiet, I did not hear the neighbors at all. The hostess is a very nice and interesting person, thank you for this experience and a wonderful vacation, I will come back!
