Johnathan and Lucy were great hosts. We stayed for 1 night which was perfect. It was an adventure getting there, and the next day we visited the Urus people on our way back to Puno

This is one of the most unique places we have ever stayed in - the hotel has just one room and is located on a man made reed island floating on Lake Titicaca. Walter was very helpful - we had a few changes in our itinerary, due to transport problems, and he was very helpful in allowing us to change our booking dates. The room was spacious with amazing lake views though the floor to ceiling windows. The meals were also very good. Please note you need to pay in cash and there are no ATM near the property (obviously!), so bring sufficient cash with you

Wow! I'm so grateful to have spent time in this beautiful place with an amazing family. If you want to see the Uros please do NOT book a tour book night here with Leonardo and Lina instead. There are such lovely people and offer tours themselves so you can discover their culture in a more private way and the money goes directly to a Uros family. We went on a kayak tour and were able to discover the whole village ourselves at our own pace which was great. The room was really comfortable, the view amazing and the food tasty. Lina, Leonardo and their children are great people happy to share about their culture. I feel really privileged to have spent time with them. One thing to note is that they live off grid, you only have USB ports in the room, the water pressure is low and it's a dry toilet. But they have managed to make it really comfortable anyway. We were surprised to even have hot water when we didn't have any in a hotel in town.

This was one of the most interesting and rewarding places we have stayed because of the uniqueness of both the place and the owners, Juan and Amalia. Staying out on one the floating islands of Uros and learning about the history and traditions from a multigenerational member of the community was so inspiring. Amalia and Juan are both so helpful and kind and there three kids are a delight. It has been, by far, the highlight of this trip to Peru and Bolivia because of the special opportunity to connect and to slow the journey down and learn from a very smart and endearing man.

Delightful family. Henry and Mariluz were so welcoming. She made fresh food for breakfast and asked us so made lunch ( including a picnic) and dinner. Henry walked us up to Pachamama and introduced to plants to help with altitude. Great sunset from here. Mariluz showed us her weaving and knitting skills. The west side of the island where they were was tranquil. A map was shared so we could walk around the island the next day and also walk up Pachatata.

The property is on the lake, 10 mins away from the community of Uros islands and 30 mins away from Puno by boat. It has great view and tranquility. Especially appreciate the tour the Ivan provide to experience the culture, explore the community, and demonstrate how people live on titikaka lake. Additionally, the food is extremely good. Overall, highly recommend this place.

This has been a highlight of our trip to Peru. Easily beyond comparison the location is both, remote and accessible. In the middle of the reeds you will find an unexpectedly spacious and wonderfully pleasing for eye, and in the reeds - perfect for birdwatching. It is located a bit outside Uros community so you can watch the city lights and the most romantic sunrises. Location indeed is a bit outside and in our case it was exactly what we were looking for. Thank you for everything!
