We had a wonderful stay at Kawa Mountain Retreat. The resort itself is beautiful, peaceful, and thoughtfully designed, with excellent facilities that make it easy to relax and truly enjoy the surroundings and the nature. It is also perfectly located, less than a 10-minute walk from Salento. What really made the experience stand out was the staff. Everyone went out of their way to make us feel at home, showing genuine care, flexibility, and a constant willingness to help with anything we needed. Their warmth and attentiveness created a very special atmosphere and made our stay feel personal rather than just another hotel visit. We felt welcomed, supported, and completely at ease throughout our time there. Highly recommended, and we would happily return.

Absolutely beautiful location and hotel was great with everything you needed. Waking up to view of mountains and river was amazing. Staff were really helpful and arranged taxis and trips. Nothing was too much trouble. Horse riding to waterfall was magical and we saw monkeys on our trip to Baraba Bremen. Also went to salento and filandia and did coffee farm tour which was very well done and interesting and to see the wax pines at Cocora. Food was good and showers were hot and powerful. Lovely relaxed atmosphere with plenty to see or do or just to lie around in hammocks. Thoroughly recommend.

We had an incredible stay at Wayra Natura, which was so comfortable and enjoyable that we ended up extending our trip by a month. The home / hotel serves as the perfect base to explore the Eje Cafetero including Circasia, Filandia and Salento. The kindness and attention of Hubeimar (host and owner) are truly exceptional. He has created a stunning environment that prioritizes comfort, making every guest feel at home. The location is ideal – quiet, private, and surrounded by nature. We spotted numerous bird species, flowering plants and trees right on the property. He also has herb gardens for teas, and vegetable plots for salads. The view has no roads or vehicles in sight! The hotel just a 10-minute walk away from catching the bus to any of the towns, yet at the hotel there is no noise pollution. Our room was immaculately clean and well-appointed, far surpassing our expectations. The outdoor kitchen is cozy and of high quality, making us feel like we were truly at home. Considering the excellent service, beautiful surroundings, and luxurious accommodations, the price was incredibly reasonable. We even formed a special bond with the three friendly dogs on staff! If you're looking for a peaceful retreat that's close to nature but still convenient, Wayra Natura is an absolute gem.
