What an absolute dream this property is--- and how amazing is it that Corne shares it with the world! We were a group of seven adults who loved every moment of our week at Tamboti. The house is enormous, beautifully appointed, comfortable, and has the most epic river view you can hope for. Communication was fabulous from start to finish, too (Corne even gratefully answered my silliest questions via text with lightening speed!). What a total dream all around! We arranged two days of spa treatments through the reserve right at the house, which Corne kindly shared information on. For us Americans, the pricing was exceptional, especially for massages and facials at your own house! Getting a massage on the upper balcony while listening to the hippos in the river was an incredible experience. And the two women who came to do our treatments were SO sweet and did such an amazing job. Just lovely. We also did pretty much daily game drives through the reserve, which also were wonderful (and thank you to Corne for helping arrange those, too!). And I want to give a special shout out to David and Suzan, the caretaker and housekeeper on property. They are the sweetest, kindest folks who truly make that house a home. I can't say enough wonderful things about the two of them and how grateful we were for their care throughout the week. For two of us, this was our second time at Mjejane, but our first at Tamboti. For the rest, it was their first in South Africa ever. Truly, this was just an amazing trip start to finish and we can't wait to come back in a couple more years again! Appreciate you all!

His attention to detail, warm hospitality, and genuine passion for creating memorable moments turned our stay into something beyond exceptional. A heartfelt thank you to Lodrick, who not only managed every aspect of our stay with excellence but personally took us on a spectacular safari game drive—an experience that left us in awe. With his expert guidance and deep knowledge of the bush, we felt completely safe and at ease, even as we ventured into the wild. Thanks to him, we had the unforgettable thrill of seeing four of the Big Five animals in their natural habitat, a breathtaking moment our family will never forget. Lodrick, you are the heart of Kruger Sunset Lodge, and your kindness and leadership made us feel not like guests, but like treasured members of the Kruger family. Be beautiful view from the deck they have right at the restaurant we got to see a hippopotamus in the river and it has a beautiful sunset view as well. It’s very close to the gate around 10 minutes drive and it has good food in the restaurant as well offered.

The staff is always ready to help, they really go the extra mile. The food is very good and varied. The safari is wonderful!!!

Our stay at Jocks was the most magical experience in every way. Our ranger Jan was an incredible guide on the safari game drives, and we ended up seeing all big 5. Every meal at Jocks was delicious and an experience of its own. The staff was very delightful. Last but not least, the lodge itself was beautiful, with a massive outdoor space and day bed. I highly recommend Jocks!
