The room was very comfortable. I loved the rainfall shower head in the bathroom! The paid breakfast was delicious and met what I expected. The location was incredible, right in the heart of the city center; no more than ten minutes to plenty of shops, cafes, and museums. All the staff I spoke with were friendly, warm, and generous - definitely makes all the difference for a solo traveler!

Love the location of the mercure stayed many times the only thing letting it down is the rooms are very dated especially the bathrooms wouldn’t take a lot to Start putting wet wall boards of the purple tiles

Just like the last time we visited Livingston, the staff were superb, the room was excellent. We said that the rooms needed an update and really pleased to see that it has been done. Well done. An amazing time spent at the Mercure..

Booked the Mercure last minute for an event in Edinburgh and found it to be perfect in terms of central location, price and comfort. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Special shout out to the manager Craig who went above and beyond to make sure our stay was superb!
