United StatesAbsolutely stunning and peaceful location, exactly the relaxing spot I was looking for. Plenty of pretty walks in the area and sea lions right on the beach below! Beach access directly in front of the place and a beautiful outdoor sitting area. The owners were the most welcoming, helpful, and sweetest people I’ve met. The facilities were great and the place was so homey. Didn’t want to leave!

Lovely motel, great location. Tess was very lovely and welcoming. The kitchen was well equipped and was great to have electric blankets, as it was fairly cold at night, the rooms also have radiators so again was nice to have those to keep warm in winter. Would definitely stay again if around that area.

Absolutely beautiful motel in an incredible location. The unit was beautifully finished, super comfortable and had everything we needed. It was very spacious.
There was a lovely terrace out front overlooking the hills. We loved our stay here

We have stayed here a few times and have found these hotels to have everything you would need to have a good stay, whether as a couple or with a family. The facilities are a bit dated but well maintained and very clean as are the grounds outside. They come with covered parking and a few friendly cat visitors! I would highly recommend this Motel for convenience and comfort.

The motel was very comfortable, located close to all facilities in Owaka. The hotel was homely and had all facilities we needed. We were greeted with fresh muffins by the proprietor who ensured the unit was to our liking. Heating was more than adequate for the weather. Given other accommodation options in the Catlins were scarce, we were more than happy to find such a good motel.

We've stayed before. The motel is well set up with plenty of room, an excellent kitchen with gas cooking, parking is under cover.

This is the best motel I have stayed so far. The unit was new and super clean, fully equipped kitchen, they pay attention to many details and overall it’s just cosy. The manager through the phone was very friendly, the heater was on when we arrived late:) super affectionate cat accompanied us during the morning and amazing red sky during sunrise. Overall very peaceful and calm place:)
