Once the power came back on all was good. I had camping gear to make a cuppa. It was a cold night. Lovely unit. Not very sound proof. Had everything I needed. Comfortable bed. Thank you

Allie, our host, was incredibly friendly and helpful and provided excellent information about the area. The furnishings and decor are quirky and fun, especially if you like Victoriana. We really enjoyed having our cup of tea and breakfast on the old-fashioned china while sitting at the charming breakfast table in the sunny bay window.

Locations, facilities, room, cleanliness. Accommodation is right near Sea Lions beach, we’ve seen them every time we headed towards the Surat Bay. They were 10m away, playing, swimming, relaxing. Amazing experience.

Nice and central location for a Catlins visit. Clean and quite , value for money. Well worth the visit. Would go back again. Friendly locals.

Brilliant host and a brilliant town

Lovely location on hilltop overlooking the lake/bay. Very clean, comfortable and spacious. We enjoyed using the wood stove and wood provided. Lots of natural light during the day and cozy at night.

Truly tranquil setting in nature, with hosts quietly and calmly meeting our every need and making us feel welcome. A huge rain+wind storm passed through in the night, and the tiny cabin was cozy and comfie.

Absolutely stunning and peaceful location, exactly the relaxing spot I was looking for. Plenty of pretty walks in the area and sea lions right on the beach below! Beach access directly in front of the place and a beautiful outdoor sitting area. The owners were the most welcoming, helpful, and sweetest people I’ve met. The facilities were great and the place was so homey. Didn’t want to leave!

Everything was perfect. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies, including breakfast foods. The location couldn't be better - a five minute walk to the beach and an easy drive to surrounding attractions. It was so quiet and private.

We liked everything about Seaspray Cabin. Far away in the Catlins, but absolutely worth the drive. A tiny house, but very functional and well designed. Modern and very well equipped. The beach was across the road and two times we encountered sea lions. Fantastic! One of the best stays ever.

Location, amenities, everything! I wish we could have stayed longer. Hope to return soon.
