This hotel was a pleasant surprise! For a relatively cheap price per night, you get a recently-renovated hotel in the heart of SF.

The customer service at reception was exceptional. This was my second time staying here, and everything went smoothly. I believe Star Motel has a great location, beautiful rooms, and excellent service overall.

room is clean, microwave is useful but the parking make me nervous bec: I came back late and need to park at the street parking.

Unbeatable lication! Walk distance from everywhere

The property is spacious and they keep both the outside and inside their rooms clean for both client and employees. I have a problem speaking Spanish. The staff works very well with or out the translation.. I am grateful for the surf motel

Rooms are clean, housekeeping is great, no stains or discoloration on the sheets or towels. The parking lot was clean as well. I also was appreciative of the key carded elevator and stairs, it made me and my friends feel more safe.

Location is awesome and walking distance to Pier 39, 2 min walk. it feels safe and close to CVS store for whatever you need. I myself was worried on how safe it would be, but yes it’s no issue.

Cleaning service everyday, free parking, close to popular places , more food options nearby

The motel was clean, the facilities within the rooms were very good compare to other motels (microwave, fridge). The bathroom was very nice. Breakfast was very basic, but functional. Much more than expected.
