The motel was perfect for our short stay in Gatlinburg. The hosts were super nice and the little cabin style rooms were clean and very well taken care of. The “bear” motive was a cute little detail that we encountered across the property.

Rivers Edge Motel is located in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains, 1.7 mi from Harrah's Casino. All rooms feature panoramic views of the Oconaluftee River.

Absolutely beautiful being next to a running creek just listening to it was so relaxing. Only spoke to what I believe is the owner of the property and she was an absolutely wonderful woman. The room was very clean, we opted for a smoking room with a Jacuzzi tub which was absolutely wonderful for my girl. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to all

Absolutely loved the private balcony, the river view. Quiet peaceful. But also close enough to walk to town. Sitting on the balcony in morning seeing Eagle in tree by the river and then he was joined by his mate it was so beautiful. May never see that again so that was awesome. Along with the ducks in the river every morning. The quiet peaceful nights resting on balcony . Clean rooms . Great location. My sister and myself enjoyed our stay . This was a small, very clean, locally owned motel. The elderly lady in the office was very nice and helpful. We will definitely stay again at this location .
