Location was amazing - surrounded by nature, accessible by train (make sure to buy a paper ticket, IC card not accepted) Everything is well designed, clean and thoughtful. We enjoyed renting the e-bikes and exploring the surrounding nature and villages

Beautiful scenery, quiet, close to train True Japanese experience! They were very hospitable, carried our bags to our rooms, provided tea and treats and water, took pics of us at the end of the stay and walked us through the meal. Our packages included breakfast and a kaiseki dinner which had 11 courses of food. Very good food, full of traditional Japanese plates, and very filling!!!! Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Some spoke English and we used translation tools with those who didn’t. They also provided free WiFi

My first experience at a ryokan and it absolutely exceeded my expectations. They have onsite private onsens (around $5/person) and a 'public' (gender separated) onsen. Both look out upon the bay and are incredibly relaxing and beautiful. The room itself was a splurge and wonderful. The room with tatami mats smell great with a light wood-smell and the futon beds were incredibly comfy. The staff was really nice and helpful and the room was filled with goodies like nice robes, crackers, and tea. I don't know about the onsite food or massage options.

Wan Wan Paradise Hamanako features a hot spring bath and free private parking, and is within 24 miles of Shizuoka Stadium ECOPA and a 12-minute walk of Hamanako Palpal.

Located in Hamamatsu and with Shizuoka Stadium ECOPA reachable within 23 miles, Arashi no Yakata provides a garden, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a restaurant.
