Properties with Onsen in Otsu

It’s a mix of the traditions and modern. With a very warm welcome from the host, always going the extra mile for us. And the host could speak both Japanese, English and Chinese. A perfect place for travellers.

Location's great. Close to station, bus stop and main streets area but still quiet at night. I can see locals walking around there so it's not tourists-centric kinda place, which I like. The hotel's clean, nicely decorated and the room was really cozy. Public bath was fully equipped with everything so I could enjoy the hot spring there. Staffs are extremely nice and communicate in English really well that I was really impressed. 100% come back next time and rcm it to my friends

The location was fantastic. Beautiful view of the lake a far away from the mad crowds of Kyoto. The staff and the service was unbelievable for the price by far the best accommodation hotel service we experienced in Japan

Onsens were awesome. Kaiseki dinners were ok. Room was huge by Japan standards.

The hotel is quite exquisite for our first time experiencing ryokan. The room is spacious, our kid was enjoying running around and had fun, sound proof was amazing. The facility is kid friendly with free gift, chairs and toys to keep them busy. Ryokan breakfast and dinner experience were superb too with exquisite services from the staff. I personally like the souvenir store, it consolidates various arts, craft, fashion and food around Otsu, Shiga and Lake Biwa.

The staff here are incredible. They went above and beyond to help us celebrate our honeymoon. I was so grateful for how hard they all worked and how kind they all were. We also got the breakfast service in our room, which was excellent, and they provided several drinks in the fridge for us for free. They shuttled us from the station and back to it, and we were even sent off by the staff at the end of our stay. So friendly and welcoming. Also, our deluxe suite had the private open air bath, and I can't recommend that enough. It was so relaxing and incredible. Lastly, I personally loved the toiletries and additional things that came with the room (shampoo, straightener, beverages, yukata, pajamas, etc.)

Food was excellent! service was superb.

The best part, hands down, is the private onsen (if you choose that option). Nothing felt more relaxing after a long day of exploration than melting in the onsen; your muscles will thank you.

Perfect location. Pretty nice facilities. Best service. Love their onsen and kimonos.
