Great hotel just a couple blocks from Wakayama Station. I only stayed one night and chose it for the proximity to the train station, but for a solo traveler, the room design was perfect, nice little sitting area, big window and a lot of natural light, all the amenities you could possibly need, quality pajamas and sandals, and extra towels, which I always appreciate. Onsen open both late and early (my train was delayed by a typhoon so I didn’t arrive until 1am and the onsen was still open). Staff was kind, friendly and efficient, especially considering my super late arrival. There were laundry facilities and vending machines. At first I thought the bed seemed firm but I slept great. Breakfast was really nice, if you’re trying to eat healthy there was a big bowl of fresh lettuce, plus steamed broccoli and tomatoes for salad, grilled sardines, eggs, miso soup and pickled vegetables. But also sausage and pastries and fun stuff like that. Breakfast started at 6:30am, so helpful if you have an early train. I would absolutely stay here again!

- Location is great, seaside view but we have to drive for long distance to climb the mountain before reach to the hotel. It's very peaceful place. - Dinner is superb. I had travelled in Japan along 12 years, more than 10 trips, stayed in over 30 ryukan. I could say this hotel provides the best dinner meals in my life-experiences in Japan. Super appreciate about this. - Dinner is super big portion, fresh food, quality ingredients, very delicious. - Breakfast also great but come with smaller size compare with dinner. - Onsen is great also, could see many stars in the sky in outdoor area. - All facilities in the room are perfect.

The location is perfect. It faces the west. My room is facing part of the ocean and a little fishing port. It is very different kind of vacation from the buzzing life of Osaka. The property is not big but cozy enough that you could feel being yourself.

Extremely conveniently located with nice amenities and friendly staff. Right next to the train station and close to lots of restaurants. The room was very comfortable as well!

The place and the scenery was fabulous, with the mountains and river all in one view it's really wonderful, the onsen was also good and the restaurant they have provided great food. Highly recommended if you got time to get out of the busy life

Amazing amenities. Room is a bit small compared to common American Hotels. But The hot spring baths were relaxing. It was amazing having these amenities in the same hotel.

Loved this hotel! Super easy to walk to from the airport. Check in was fun with the robot dinosaurs. We had the 3 person room with projector. Excellent space. The water pressure in the shower was phenomenal. And! There is a delicious 24 hour diner right across the way called Joyful. We never saw anyone. Felt like we had the whole place to ourselves.
